We have an amazing range of drinks for you to enjoy either with a meal, or simply when popping in for a pint or two. Our very own range of Badger Beers are only sold in Hall & Woodhouse pubs, so we can guarantee the very best quality cask ales.
As well as our famous Badger beers we also have a selection of lagers and ciders, together with a quality wine list, with wines from all around the world, and an ever increasing range of spirits.
For something at the end of your meal or when stopping in for a hot drink after a long walk, we have a range of teas, coffees and hot chocolates to keep you satisfied.
It was deep in Dorset’s rolling hills and patchwork fields, in 1777, that local farmer Charles Hall brewed our first beer. A union of the Hall & Woodhouse families soon followed and the story of Badger beer had begun.
To create the distinctive character of our delicious Badger beers, Hall & Woodhouse combine hops and malted barley with pure spring water which has been filtered naturally through the Cretaceous chalk downs of Dorset.
Our comprehensive range of cask beers, all with distinctive characters, is available throughout the year, although our offering does vary seasonally. We also offer Wicked Wyvern IPA, an enticing Indian Pale Ale from Hall & Woodhouse.
The word Lager comes from the German word “lagern” which means “To store”. A perfect description, as lagers are brewed with bottom fermenting yeast that works slowly at around 34 degrees Fahrenheit and required the lager to be stored for a prolonged period of time. Some lagers are stored for even longer at a cool temperature to mature.
Our range includes Birra Moretti and Amstel.
Our range of delicious ciders consists of Thatchers Gold and Thatchers Haze cider on draught, as well as a selection of Old Mout bottled fruit ciders, particularly popular during the spring and summer months whilst enjoying our fabulous garden terrace.
Our delicious coffee beans come from Tudor Coffee Roasters. We have an extensive coffee offering for you, perfect after a hearty meal, or when stopping in for a hot drink after a long walk.
We also have a range of teas, or for a treat our hot chocolate is made with real Belgian Chocolate.
